David Walker Joins BEAR Data as Regional Sales Director
San Francisco, CA, July 12, 2011 – BEAR Data Solutions, a global IT solutions provider, today announced that David Walker has joined the company as Southwest Regional Sales Director. Walker will be responsible for commercial sales in Southern California and Nevada, including leading the company’s go-to-market strategies for enterprise accounts and achieving greater sales penetration into new and existing industries. Brad Thompson, executive vice president of sales and marketing, will continue to lead the company’s global sales efforts.
Prior to joining BEAR Data, David Walker is credited with starting and successfully growing two Southern California resellers as well as an ASP (Application Service Provider) business over the course of his fifteen-year sales and management tenure. Walker has led regional sales teams to an average CAGR of over 30% in the enterprise data center space and is an honorably discharged and meritoriously promoted US Marine. He is also a magna cum laude graduate of Business Management from the University of West Florida.
