BEAR Data Solutions Welcomes Lantz Litchfield as Chief Technology Officer
SAN FRANCISCO, Ca, December 1, 2010—BEAR Data Solutions, a global provider of information technology solutions and services, today announced that Lantz Litchfield has joined its executive team as Chief Technology Officer. Dr. Litchfield holds CISSP and more than 100 security industry certifications, along with certifications from the NSI and NSA.

As CTO, Dr. Litchfield oversees BEAR Data’s technology direction. He will continue to work with our customers to develop and grow our industry leading solution set. He is actively working to build BEAR Data Solutions Professional Services team’s certifications and assemble an organization known for its highly skilled, multi-faceted consultants.
Prior to joining BEAR Data, Dr. Litchfield was Vice President of Professional Services at a large national solution provider. Over five years he grew the engineering team tenfold and expanded the service offerings and customer facing deliverables and methodology. He was also a principal at BMD solutions a security consultancy and remediation business with an elite clientele of Federal agencies, DoD, and Fortune 500 corporations. Prior to joining BMD, Dr. Litchfield worked at Corplinx, a business-class Internet service provider of casino gaming.
Dr. Litchfield is a sought-after speaker at industry events such as RSA and G2S and actively works with clients consulting on technology processes and directions. He is also an FAA-licensed pilot with commercial IFR certification for multiengine airplanes.
Dr. Litchfield holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology from Concordia University.
